Black Turtle Cove

Santa Cruz0.500792° S, 90.326507° W

A mangrove-lined cove on the north coast of Santa Cruz, reached only by boat and explored by quiet panga ride. The still water is a nursery for sea turtles, spotted rays, and reef and Galápagos sharks, with lava herons in the mangroves. There is no landing.
