Cancellation policy
How cancellations work on Book Cruise Now — the policy that applies to your booking comes from the operator, not from us.
Cancellation policy is set by the operator
Each operator sets its own cancellation policy for its ships — how much notice you need to give, what’s refundable, and by when. Book Cruise Now doesn’t set or standardize these terms: the operator runs the cruise, so the operator sets the terms for changing or canceling it. We only standardize how fee schedules are shown, so they’re easy to compare.
Where to find the policy
When an operator has published its policy, the “Cancellation policy” section of each departure page shows it. If the policy sets fees by date, you’ll see an estimate of the fee at each point before that departure, based on the lowest fare. Otherwise you’ll see the operator’s own wording.
If a departure page doesn’t show a policy, the operator shares it with your quote, before you pay anything. Read it before you pay a deposit, and ask the operator directly if anything is unclear. If you never receive one, ask for it in writing before you send money.
If the policy you receive with your quote differs from the departure page, the policy in your quote applies.
Before you pay
Book Cruise Now runs on an inquiry model: you send an inquiry for a departure, and the operator confirms availability and sends you a quote. You aren’t charged to inquire, so you can have the full cancellation policy in hand before you commit.
Canceling or changing a booking
To cancel or change a confirmed booking, contact the operator directly — through the inquiry thread you already have, or using the contact details they’ve shared. The operator handles the cancellation and any refund under its own policy.
Refunds
Refunds are issued by the operator, on the payment rail you originally paid through, such as WeTravel, PayPal, or wire transfer. Book Cruise Now doesn’t hold your payment and isn’t the merchant of record for your booking, so we can’t issue a refund directly.
