The red-footed booby is the smallest booby in the Galápagos and the only one that nests in trees and shrubs rather than on the ground. It has bright red feet and a blue-and-pink bill, and occurs in both brown and white color morphs. Most of the Galápagos population breeds on Genovesa Island.

Best time to see it

Breeds year-round, concentrated on Genovesa and other northern islands; no single fixed peak.
