The Española mockingbird, also called the Hood mockingbird, is found only on Española Island and its satellite islets. It is the largest of the Galápagos mockingbirds and has a notably long, decurved bill. The species is known for its boldness, often landing on visitors in search of water and food. Its entire range sits within Galápagos National Park.

Resident year-round; restricted to Española and nearby islets.
